Golf lovers MUST go and play a round of golf at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Golf Club! This award-winning Alberta golf course remains one of the “must play” courses in Canada!

Must DO

Jasper is an outdoor sports lover’s playground, with hiking and golfing in the summer and skiing and ice canyon walks in the winter.

- Hike, canoe or fish in the breathtaking valley of Maligne Lake

- Hop aboard a boat cruise to the world famous Spirit Island

- Walk along one of the most spectacular gorges in the Rockies, Maligne Canyon, in the winter and explore the floor of the frozen canyon

- Enjoy a leisurely stroll at Mount Edith Cavell or hike onwards to the Meadows.

- For stunning vistas over mountain ranges stretching up to 80 km away, take a ride up the Jasper Sky Tram.

Must KNOW

- Jasper offers year-round festivals and events which celebrate the diversity if Jasper National Park, its heritage and mountain culture.

- Fuel Up! Whatever direction you’re going, you should fuel up in Jasper or Lake Louise before hitting the Icefields Parkway! If you forget, there is a small gas station at Saskatchewan River Crossing.

- It is possible to travel this route in 3 hours but it is A CRIME to do so because of the jaw-dropping scenery!

Nice to KNOW

- Plan a Meal!
There are only a few places to stop for lunch, so it is best to pack lunch or snacks before leaving. Lake Louise and Jasper have great bakeries that offer boxed lunches and fresh baked goodies. There are many fantastic picnic locations to enjoy a meal amidst outstanding vistas!

- UNPLUG!
There is no cell phone reception along the Icefields Parkway. Turn off your device and enjoy the views.
